2006 SSD Hospital Presidents' Council starts today, September 4, 2006, at the Fiesta Hotel in Guam. Topic being discussed is "Leadership from the Top" and is focused on hospital and clinic boards. The conference aims to (1) provide an opportunity for board members and hospital leaders to communicate more closely and to discuss issues affecting hospital operations and mission; (2) update board members on trends and issues int he healthcare industry; (3) provide an orientation to new members of the hospital boards. Presidents and board members of the various Adventist hospitals and clinics in the Southern Asia-Pacific Division are expected to participate in the conference. The meeting will end on September 6, 2006.
