Description of our Services: Nursing Care. The Calbayog Sanitarium and Hospital (CSH) is the preferred hospital in the area because of the Dietary. CSH serves only vegetarian meals to patients, believing that a diet of fruits and vegetables facilitates healing and recovery. Spiritual Care. The hospital believes in holistic healing and is committed, not only to helping patients with their physical ailments, but to providing them with spiritual care that will aid in their healing. Today, a full time chaplain now visits and prays for the patients on a regular basis. Former patients are also visited in their homes just to extend the concern and goodwill of the hospital to its former patients and families and to continue to educate them about health and preventable diseases. Community Service. With the limited resources of the hospital, it still provides free service to the needy of the community. The last Thursday of the month is a free medical consultation day and diagnostic services are discounted. The hospital also goes on a quarterly medical outreach to needy communities around the area.
